To add your listing you first need to register on our site as a seller at http://www.vanexchange.co.nz/choice.php. Once you’ve signed in you can navigate to your account area. In your account area you will see a number of tabs where you can manage your activity on the VanExchange website such as saving your searches, or saving other campervan listings.

To list your own vehicle click on the ‘My Listings’ tab, here you will see the ‘Add listing’ button. After clicking the Add listing button you will be presented with a form to fill out regarding your vehicle. We strongly suggest you fill this out as fully as possible to help other users find your vehicle. The more details you provide the better chance other users will have of finding your listing.

Once you have completed and submitted the details of your car or van you will be presented with a link to add photos to your listing. Again adding photos greatly enhances the impact of your listing and will not only attract more buyers, but will also help you get a better price for your vehicle. Photos of your vehicle are currently limited to a file size of 1.5mb. If you’re on the road and you don’t have the equipment to reduce the file size yourself you can simply email us and we will sort it for you: images@vanexchange.co.nz

Once you have uploaded your photos your listing is complete, but don’t kick back just yet, we’ve got a couple more tips to ensure your listing kicks ass. Firstly try searching for your vehicle yourself, is it showing up as you intended? If not you might want to revise some of the details. Secondly once you find your listing send yourself a test message – our contact form uses the email address you registered with to receive messages from users, but there is a small possibility there could be a typo, or you might find messages being caught in your spam filter (so that’s why we haven’t heard anything!). Finally when you do receive interest from potential buyers if you find people asking the same questions be sure to update your listing so that the information is readily available.
